FINALLY!!!

I FINALLY posted another blog. I was FINALLY able to upload the 12-week ultrasound pictures that I wasn't able to last time. I FINALLY have prego-belly pictures for those who've been requesting them. We FINALLY found out the gender of our baby. We FINALLY picked a name. And Paul FINALLY felt the baby move.

Let me first do a quick run-through of what I missed blogging about (I hope I don't forget anything). There won't be lots of details, so if you want to know more, just ask. In November we celebrated Paul's 26th b-day. During this month, we also found out that Bryan and Rebecca are having a little girl! We also had a nice, quiet Thanksgiving here in Atlanta with just the two of us. Paul actually did most of the cooking. I must say he made some pretty good mac & cheese. There were also lots of "Happy Birthdays" flying around to my mom, Tiffany (my sister), Elizabeth (Paul's sister), and Liam (our nephew).

In December, we celebrated Christmas with our family in SC. We were excited to see everyone and celebrate our Savior's birth with them. There was lots of baking, lots of laughter, lots of food, lots of games, and lots of fun. My grandma is expecting 4 (actually 5 since Perry and Amy are having twins) great-granchildren in a row (April, May, June, and July), so the 4 of us pregnant ladies lined up on Christmas Eve at Grandma Stalvey's for a picture. (Amy and I aren't as obviously pregnant as Rebecca and Tiffany are.)
I want to put up more pictures from Christmas, but that will make this blog even longer than it's going to be already....I'll eventually post them on facebook for those of you who are interested. We also found out Tiffany and Victor are having a boy!

Paul and I rang in 2010 by stuffing our faces with ice cream sundaes. I can't think of a better way to welcome a new year!

Now we're to the baby updates. Here's the 12-week ultrasound picture that I was unable to post last time:
And here I am 20 weeks and 3 days pregnant. I took this picture while I was hanging out at home in the morning before going to the doctor to find out the gender.
During the ultrasound, the baby was squirming and moving all around, but when it came time to look between the legs to find out the gender, the legs went straight and didn't move! The ultrasound tech was wiggling the camera-thingy around on my stomach to try to get the baby to move, so she could get a good view. I was lying there thinking to myself, "If I have to leave here without finding out the gender, I'm going to die!" Fortunately, the tech was able to get a good enough view to tell us we were having a girl! Paul and I are excited! Here's our little girl's mugshots from this appointment.

Baby fingers, toes, and feet!
We're going to name our baby girl Olivia Jayne. I have been trying to get Paul to feel Olivia move for weeks now, but every single time he puts his hand on my stomach, she stops moving! Argh! I've been noticing lately that if I lie on my back, she starts to move more, so I did that last night and had Paul rest his hand on my stomach. And then it happened! She didn't just give one good punch for Dad, but she gave a few! I think I was happier than Paul was that he felt her move. Ha ha!

Well, I've finally caught up to the present. I'll have more to blog about soon since it's Valentine's Day weekend and all. I really need to do better at keeping up with the blog because it takes too long to backtrack. I hope everyone has a happy Valentine's Day!

FINALLY! :) Yes you do need to be better at this blog- especially when Olivia comes so that her aunts (and I guess uncles) who live far away can keep up with what's going on with her! :) I'm getting so, so excited... I ordered your present the other day and came up with a game for your shower. Ahhh!

What a beautiful little girl! Love her profile and fingers. Those are the only things I could clearly identify from the pictures. The pictures of you are great too! Quite appropriate that you wore a pink top the day you found out about Olivia.

Love the pics of all you girls, Olivia included! Tell Paul that if he's so good at calming her down, he gets the job after she arrives!
Love you both ... I mean three!
