Olivia's 2-year Stats:
Height: 36 in, 98%
Weight: 27 lbs 5 oz, 67%
Head: 46 cm, 16%
If it's true that kids are half their height at 2 years old, then Olivia is going to be 6 feet tall! We have a tall, thin girl.
Olivia is saying a lot of words, but isn't quite forming sentences yet - just 2-word phrases mainly. She has started saying things in Spanish (si=yes, peca=freckle, te amo=I love you, hola=hello) She is full of energy and loves to play and be outside. Her new favorite thing to do is swim. She's still somewhat of a picky eater. She has been interacting more with Ethan these days. They share a room now and I have found her a number of times standing on the bottom ledge of the crib looking in and and talking to Ethan. She has realized he laughs and smiles at her, so she now plays peek-a-book with him, jumps around, and quickly turns her head in front of his face while saying, "Boo!" to get him laughing. My dad got Olivia to start giving pounds. When she gives someone pounds, she has to give pounds to everyone in the room, including Ethan. She is very concerned for others. If she sees/hears you get hurt, her eyebrows get all furrowed and she asks, "Okay?" Sometimes she rubs the part of me that got hurt (finger, head, etc.) and gives it a kiss. She loves when Daddy comes home. As soon as she hears his key in the lock, she jumps up and greets him with a giant hug. She finally progressed in her counting. Instead of saying "two" over and over again, she now says, "Two, two, eight!" Hmm...we'll get there. She refuses to say Ethan's name and simply calls him "baby" instead.

Ethan's 4-month Stats:
Height: 27 in, 97%
Weight: 16 lbs 6 oz, 68%
Head: 42 cm, 70%
Ethan smiles, laughs, and coos. He has been trying hard to roll over for a while now and he finally succeeded yesterday! We gave him rice cereal for the first time the other day, but he didn't seem ready for it. He didn't open his mouth for it, he gave bad faces when it was in his mouth, and he spit it all up after a few bites. Oh well, we'll try again later. He is a happy, easy baby. He is completely content hanging out on a blanket on the floor, watching Olivia and me doing various things throughout the day. He goes to bed around 8:00 or 8:30 and doesn't wake up until between 5:00am and 6:15am to eat, then he goes back to sleep until 7:30 or 8:00.
While they seem to be growing up way too fast, we're just happy they are growing up healthily. Neither of them have any kind of problems thus far and we feel very blessed.

Great update. Love the pictures. The photo shows how unhappy Ethan is with rice cereal! Too funny.
Can't wait to see these two darlings playing together. It makes me smile to think of how Olivia makes Ethan laugh.
