And by "showers" I mean baby showers. It is so wonderful when friends come together to help you prepare for a new addition to the family. These lovely ladies threw a wonderful one for us at the beginning of February:

Here are just a few snapshots of the event...but let me first say that I hate the faces I'm making in the pictures as I'm opening the gifts because it looks like I'm not always happy even though I am extremely happy - it's just that awkward in-between moment the camera catches between faces and words.

Homemade items are so awesome. A friend made the onesie with the tie and another made 2 out of 3 blankets she gave us. Love!!!

This was one of the best showers I've ever attended. The food and the setting were especially awesome. And your friends and the gifts were nice too. So glad Lib and I could come.
