Halloween 2010

On the Tuesday before Halloween, a few of us from church got together for a Halloween party for the kids (that way they could get more use out of their costumes). It turned out to be fun and we had some yummy and festive food.On Wednesday, Sandy came to visit us for a couple of days! It had been a while since we'd seen each other, but once we got together, we just picked up right where we left off. While Paul was at his internship on Thursday, Sandy, Olivia, and I went to a pumpkin patch to take some cute pictures.Thursday night was Sandy's last night and the two of us stayed up WAY too late...3am! I definitely regretted it the next day (having to take care of a baby and all), but I somehow survived.

I wanted some pictures of Olivia and Paul at the pumpkin patch as well, so our little family went to the patch on Saturday.
Our church had a Halloween Trunk or Treat party that evening. It turned out great and was a blast for everyone. They had a cotton candy machine, a popcorn machine, hot dogs, apple cider, a cake walk, a doughnut eating contest, a parade of costumes, and of course, trunk or treating. Here's a picture of our little family at church:
Sunday was Halloween and we had the perfect dress for Olivia to wear to church (thanks to Sandy). Since it was Sunday but also Halloween, Olivia went to church as a ballerina! She was so darn cute (as you can see for yourself)!
I was so excited to give out candy the first Halloween Paul and I were married, but then no kids ended up coming...so the next year, I didn't buy candy and guess what happened?! Kids came! I felt horrible for not having anything to give them. So this year I bought a small bag of candy just in case and we had about 15-20 kids come! Finally! Ha ha! Anyway, our week of Halloween was fun.

You're lucky! We bought all this candy we don't even like, and then we had no one show up:( I've learned my lesson, only buy candy you want to eat, just in case.
