4-months Old

Our little girl turned exactly 4-months on Sept 29th. She also went to the doctor that day for her 4-month checkup. According to the pediatrician, Olivia is healthy and VERY strong. Dr. Bussey was impressed at Olivia's strength. Her stats are all over the charts, but the doc wasn't concerned about any of it; she said Olivia is just tall and slender. Here are her stats:

Height: 25in - 78%
Weight: 13lbs, 9oz - 50%
Head: 40cm - 23%

We get to start her on rice cereal whenever we want, so we're excited about that. I can't wait to see how she'll react.

Lately Olivia likes to put things over her face when she's trying to fall asleep. She'll even pull her clothes up to cover her face (as witnessed below) if she's not holding anything else. We've been giving her this little panda blankie my grandma and aunt made for her to snuggle with, and she almost instantly calms down, puts it over her face, and sleeps like an angel. It's really funny.
Olivia has also finally gotten used to being on her tummy now that she rolls over all the time. It's still not always her favorite position, but she'll stay on it for a while before she gets upset. She also loves watching the television. She could be screaming her head off, but as soon as her eyes lock on the t.v., she immediately stops crying and just stares at it. It's hilarious. Here she is lying on her tummy and watching Veggie Tales:
Another funny thing about Olivia is that she has started to squirm a lot in her sleep. We'll put her down one way, and she'll be in a completely different position the next time we peek in on her. She also loves to sleep with her hands behind her head. In the picture below, she was lying completely straight in her crib taking a nap with her blanket tucked in around her, but this is how she ended up (she turned almost 90 degrees):
Needless to say, we love our little girl so much! She entertains us every single day. We can't wait to see what funny little habit she comes up with next.

I enjoyed looking at these pictures and reading about little Miss Priss so much! In the first picture, she looks so smart; I can tell that she's an incredibly intelligent baby...in addtion to being adorable to look at! She's a great combination of her exceptional parents.
