Learning New Things

I don't have much time right now to give details on the things I've missed blogging about, but I'll do that later. I just wanted to post these videos of Olivia. She has been trying so hard to roll over. She just can't seem to figure out how to get her arm out of her way. The first 2 videos were taken this past Wednesday. The last one was taken Friday. When you see her give up in the second video, you'll see her comfortable position: on the back, hands in mouth, and legs bent like a frog. In the last video, you'll hear that she becomes frustrated that she can't make it all the way over. (FYI: I always lay her down in the middle of the blanket, but she squirms and moves herself all around...that's why she's hanging off the blanket.)

We're watching and pushing with her! Dad said if he had been there he couldn't have stood it and would have had to give her a little nudge to push her over. I used to push a bit on your hips to give you encouragement and sometimes push all the way. She's so close, it won't be long!

Thanks so much for sharing these precious moments. By the end of this week, I bet she'll be able to do it.
